So I was at the shooting range the other day, and there was this family with a small daughter (probably less then 10) and she had a pink jacket and pants (I guess the parents think it's cute to give their kids matching costumes) and she had an equally matching pink rifle (a bolt action .22 of some sort) in exactly the same colour! Yeah... Anyway, there was this other family that came later, also with two small daughters, but they regularly coloured guns, also bolt action .22s. So I thought, "well what's the point of a bolt action .22 anyway", so I Googled them and found that there are actually rifles, specifically designed and marketed as "for children"

(think I'm full of shit? Check these out:

Well, I think it's great, nice to know that in the next generation there will be reasonable people, with correct attitude towards gun ownership, who'll help safeguard our God-given right to buy assault weapons of doom... I mean happy fun sports equipment ^^ Seriously though, if the kids are growing up in a house with firearms, might as well learn about them from their parents, rather then video games or movies, nes pa?
On a completely unrelated note, I was looking through the list of people I devWatch, and like a good third (if not half) now have defunct accounts ;__; Some of them have such awesome unique styles that I really enjoyed. And what's with the gutting of the occount? I mean why do people even take the effort to delete everything?
